MUDA is a mold recognition apparatus that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to identify toxigenic mold species found in homes, such as Stachybotrys (black mold), Alternaria, Aspergillus, and Cladosporium.

Problem Statement
Exposure to mold in high-humidity areas can be a health hazard, and the currently available solutions rely on mold inspections from specialists that are costly and time-consuming.
Opportunity
A system that takes into account the challenges associated with traditional mold detection methods can enhance people's safety.

The mold detection market is dull and primarily focused on professional use. These products look outdated and feel intimidating and unfamiliar, highlighting an aesthetic disconnect that lacks awareness of form and function.
